Action Painting: a unit of work designed by Andrew Wentzel during his pre-service teaching at Essington. He inspired the students with information about Jackson Pollock and the Abstract Expressionist movement. The students used the Art Elements of colour, line, and texture and thought about movement, direction, contrast and pattern when creating their paintings.
